Jax Mariash Mustafa is a growth operator, brand builder, and endurance-driven leader who has built her career at the intersection of high-performance business and high-performance living.

With more than 15 years of experience across marketing, e-commerce, and general management, Jax has led companies through critical inflection points—scaling businesses from $10M to $100M+, transforming brands, and building the infrastructure required for sustained, profitable growth. She has held executive and C-suite roles including President, CEO, CMO, and VP of Marketing & E-Commerce, owning full P&L responsibility while leading cross-functional teams across brand, digital, product, operations, and customer experience.

Jax is known for creating integrated growth ecosystems that connect brand, performance marketing, and customer experience into a single, measurable engine. Her work spans D2C and omnichannel commerce, digital transformation, go-to-market strategy, lifecycle marketing, and operational leadership, with a consistent track record of accelerating revenue, expanding margins, and increasing customer lifetime value.

At Alien Gear, where she served as Vice President of Marketing & E-Commerce, Jax led a full-scale transformation of the company’s growth engine by integrating brand, performance, and customer experience into a cohesive operating model. She oversaw a rapid Shopify replatform for a catalog of approximately 15,000 SKUs in just nine weeks, driving a significant lift in conversion and a 62% increase in weekly revenue. Under her leadership, the business scaled acquisition and retention channels simultaneously, achieving major gains in site traffic, return on ad spend, email performance, and third-party marketplace growth, while expanding a subscriber ecosystem of roughly three million customers.

Previously, as President & CEO of Apex Ski Boots, Jax owned the full business across operations, finance, marketing, and corporate strategy, leading a comprehensive turnaround and repositioning of the brand. She rebuilt the go-to-market strategy across both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels, delivering more than 50% sales growth and expanding distribution to retail partners across North America and Europe. At the same time, she improved margin and working capital performance through disciplined pricing, inventory, and financial planning, while introducing more data-driven marketing and retention initiatives to increase long-term customer value.

At Erem Footwear, Jax helped launch a new brand from the ground up alongside the founders of Timberland. As Vice President of Marketing, she defined the brand’s positioning and led its go-to-market strategy, including a Kickstarter launch that became one of the largest footwear campaigns on the platform. She built the acquisition and retention engine across paid and organic channels, driving strong returns while improving conversion and lifetime value, and she developed strategic retail, influencer, and partnership programs that expanded both reach and credibility for the brand.

Jax’s entrepreneurial foundation was built as the Founder & CEO of Stoked Roasters, where she grew a craft coffee roasting concept into a multi-location business with wholesale, grocery, and e-commerce channels focusing on a niche of becoming The Official Coffee of The Outdoors®. She additionally built a shop n shop concept with The North Face to create shop n shop concepts in flagship locations nationwide. She led a team of more than 80 employees while owning all aspects of operations, financial planning, and brand development, ultimately achieving strong profitability and a successful exit. During that time, she also launched subscription, and direct-to-consumer models, marketplace channels, and an instant coffee line that increased recurring revenue and strengthened customer loyalty.

Earlier in her career, Jax held leadership roles that shaped her broad omnichannel and brand-building expertise. At Powderbird Helicopter Skiing, she led marketing across domestic and international operations, doubling sales while overseeing a full brand relaunch and expanding customer reach through partnerships, sponsorships, and experiential activations. As the founder of her own marketing agency Mariash Marketing, she advised more than three dozen brands across D2C, hospitality, and outdoor categories, building and executing integrated strategies across acquisition, retention, creative, and analytics while also leading agency operations.

Her foundation in scaling consumer brands was built at companies like Native Eyewear, Crocs, and Lucy Activewear. At Native Eyewear, she helped lead a post-acquisition brand transformation and doubled revenue through a combination of e-commerce expansion, retail marketing, ambassador strategy, and national experiential campaigns. At Crocs, she played a key role during a period of hyper-growth, helping launch the brand’s retail footprint, scale wholesale marketing programs, and support rapid revenue expansion across channels. At Lucy Activewear, she developed her early leadership foundation by helping drive grassroots marketing and regional public relations efforts while supporting the opening of 75 stores and creating scalable training programs that ensured consistent customer experience and operational execution across a rapidly growing retail environment.

Beyond her executive career, Jax is also the creator of Wonder Woman Jax, a platform that reflects her parallel pursuit of human performance, resilience, and mental toughness. As a professional ultra-runner for over a decade from 2012-2022 and a 4Deserts World Champion, she has competed in some of the most extreme endurance races in the world. Through Wonder Woman Jax, she has built a global audience by sharing stories of endurance, mindset, and personal evolution, demonstrating how discipline, grit, and resilience translate directly from sport into leadership and life.

This mindset defines Jax’s leadership style. She approaches business the same way she approaches endurance: with clarity of vision, relentless execution, and the ability to perform under pressure. She thrives in ambiguity, builds momentum through disciplined action, and leads teams to rise to challenges at the moments that matter most.
